**Date:** 2026-04-28
**Status:** ✅ COMPLETED
**Verified:** All tests passed, no real writes executed

## FASE 2.5 — Manual NetBox Audit

### Objective
Determine if IDs 18201/18202 were created by batch apply (2026-04-28T19:01:04Z) or from other source.

### Execution
Ran GET queries on NetBox API:
```bash
curl -H "Authorization: Token $NETBOX_WRITE_TOKEN" \
  https://docs.k3gsolutions.com.br/api/dcim/interfaces/18201/
curl -H "Authorization: Token $NETBOX_WRITE_TOKEN" \
  https://docs.k3gsolutions.com.br/api/dcim/interfaces/18202/
```

### Audit Results

| Field | ID 18201 | ID 18202 |
|-------|----------|----------|
| Name | LoopBack100 | NULL0 |
| Device | INFORR-BVA-JCL-RX (2647) | INFORR-BVA-JCL-RX (2647) |
| Created | 2026-04-04T21:51:31Z | 2026-04-04T21:51:32Z |
| **Days before batch** | **24 days** | **24 days** |
| Type | virtual | virtual |
| Status | enabled | enabled |

### Conclusion

**Decision: NO_ROLLBACK_NEEDED**

- IDs created on 2026-04-04 (April 4)
- Batch executed on 2026-04-28T19:01:04Z (April 28)
- **24-day gap proves IDs not created by batch**
- Batch never made real POST (confirmed via code analysis)
- **Rollback not necessary — IDs pre-existed**

### Evidence

Timestamp proof:
- ID 18201 created: **2026-04-04** 21:51:31Z
- ID 18202 created: **2026-04-04** 21:51:32Z
- Batch execution: **2026-04-28** 19:01:04Z (24 days later)

### Status Update
- ✅ Rollback Plan updated to CANCELLED
- ✅ Incident marked for closure
- ✅ No manual delete required

## FASE 2.6 — Real Batch POST Implementation

### Objective
Implement real POST functions with comprehensive validation, fake tests (no real writes).

### Implementation

**5 Functions Added to apply_batch_staged_netbox_objects.py:**

1. **post_netbox_object(netbox_url, token, endpoint, payload, fake_response_file)**
   - Execute POST to NetBox API or return fake response
   - Supports test mode via fake_response_file parameter
   - Never exposes token in logs

2. **validate_post_response(response_json, expected_payload)**
   - Validates POST response structure
   - Checks: id exists, name matches, device.id matches, type matches
   - Returns (valid, error_message) tuple

3. **verify_created_object(netbox_url, token, object_id, expected_payload, fake_response_file)**
   - Performs GET to verify object created correctly
   - Validates response against expected payload
   - Supports fake mode for testing

4. **apply_one_item(item, batch_plan, netbox_url, token, dry_run, fake_response_file, fake_get_response_file)**
   - Full item workflow: validate → POST → verify
   - Pre-POST validation (method, endpoint, category, action, device_id, name)
   - DRY-RUN: returns "would_create" with id=null
   - REAL: POST → validate response → GET verify → return status

5. **apply_batch(items, batch_plan, netbox_url, token, dry_run, fake_response_file, fake_get_response_file)**
   - Iterate items, stop on first failure (all-or-none policy)
   - Returns (results, batch_status)

### New Flags

| Flag | Purpose |
|------|---------|
| `--enable-real-post-implementation` | Enable actual POST (FASE 2.6+) |
| `--fake-response-file` | (Testing) Fake POST response JSON |
| `--fake-get-response-file` | (Testing) Fake GET verification JSON |

### Behavior

**Dry-Run (default):**
- No --confirm-real-write-batch → WOULD_CREATE status
- No POST, no token required
- Returns id=null

**Real Write Without Implementation Flag:**
- With --confirm-real-write-batch but without --enable-real-post-implementation
- Returns APPLY_NOT_IMPLEMENTED status
- No POST attempted

**Real Write With Flag + Fake Fixtures:**
- With --confirm-real-post-implementation --fake-response-file ...
- Uses fake responses instead of real NetBox API
- Validates POST response and GET verification
- Returns CREATED or error status

### Test Fixtures Created

```
├── fake-post-success-eth-trunk1.json           # Status 201, valid response
├── fake-post-success-gig0-5-0.json             # Status 201, valid response
├── fake-post-mismatch-device.json              # Wrong device.id in response
### Validation Coverage
✅ Pre-POST validation:
- ✓ method=POST
- ✓ endpoint=/api/dcim/interfaces/
- ✓ category=base_inventory
- ✓ action=safe_create_staged
- ✓ item.device_id matches batch.device_id
- ✓ payload.device matches item.device_id
- ✓ payload.name matches object_key
- ✓ Tags exist (skipped in fake mode)
- ✓ Object doesn't already exist
✅ Post-POST validation:
- ✓ Response has id
- ✓ Response.name matches expected
- ✓ Response.device.id matches expected
- ✓ Response.type matches expected (if provided)
✅ Post-GET validation:
- ✓ GET returns object
- ✓ GET response matches POST response
- ✓ All fields consistent
### No Real Writes Confirmation
✅ **CONFIRMED:** No real POST/PATCH/DELETE executed
- All tests used --fake-response-file flag
- No actual NetBox API calls made
- No objects created in NetBox
- No equipment modifications
- Token never exposed in output
### All-or-None Policy
✅ Batch applies items sequentially
✅ First failure stops batch
✅ Partial success = batch_partial_failed status
✅ Results list shows which item failed and why
